2004 Dulce Maria

Sweet floral, tropical, citrus, and peach/apricot aromas dance about your palate when sipping our 2004 Dulce Maria. Its crisp acidity and long, fruity/nutty finish make it perfect for pairing with salads, shellfish, or chicken with creamy or white wine sauce.

Notes: The grapes for the 2004 Dulce Maria were grown right here on the winery and were picked in our first harvest after acquiring the property, even before our tasting room trailer opened. The wine was aged in mostly neutral French oak barrels for 24 months and has been sweetened with a touch of Riesling and Muscat . It's almost like a White Port “Light” in that it has a lot of the same flavors and sweetness, but is slightly lower in alcohol. We decided to name this wine after our mom, Mary, who absolutely loves the sweeter whites like our White Port.
Food pairing: Try with a crisp salad with pears and walnuts or a spicy seafood dish.

Regular Price: $22.00
