Winemaker's Notes
Tempranillo can be a lighter wine in color and texture,
but can also have some strong dark flavors at the same
time, with a tendency towards characters such as licorice,
tobacco, and leather. We found that blending this Spanish
mainstay with a French favorite, Petite Sirah, enhances the
fruit aromas and extends the finish and tannin structure,
creating a more balanced, age-able wine. Aged in 100%
French Oak.
