2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep, dark, and overloaded with a wealth of flavors including black currant, blackberry, and black coffee, our 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon has a silky smooth body yet full, age-able character. Serve this assertive wine with meals such as pepper-crusted or plank-roasted steak sided with endive potatoes, followed by high-cacao dark chocolate dessert.

Winemaker Notes
We selected the best fruit from our La Cresta vineyard sections for this wine, about 14% of our total Cabernet Sauvignon harvest, then allowed the fruit to hang an extra 2 weeks for additional flavor intensity. A healthy dose of Cab Franc & Merlot in the blend adds complexity.
