2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Black cherry, black currant, cloves, and brown spice flavors give way to a smooth yet firm, crisp finish in our 2006 Montfort Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy this wine with grilled red meats, prime rib, or pork tenderloin.

Winemaker Notes
2006 was a rather hot summer, with a couple of extreme hot spells that resulted in slightly lighter wine character than ’05 or ’07. To intensify the overall character of the wine we added a healthy splash of Syrah and Cab Franc to our ‘06 Cabernet Sauvignon.
