2008 Reserve Tempranillo-Petite Sirah

One of our most popular flagship blends, this release was awarded a Reserve designation for being much "bigger" than previous vintages. It boasts intense color, dark fruit-spice flavors, and has firm tannins that are well-structured and age-worthy.

Winemaker Notes
We began blending Tempranillo & Petite Sirah in 2005 as a small experimental field blend (both grape varieties were harvested into the same gondola). We were very pleased with the results, and have been putting the two together ever since. The Tempranillo provides smoothness and spice, the Petite Sirah brings depth, intensity and age-ability.
